This blog details how employees at Rossendale Borough Council acted as judge, jury and executioner in trying to extort money from a family by blaming them for the Council's maistakes. Subsequent to these mistakes the family -consisting of an unwell, depressed and out-of-work father, a disabled mother, and two vulnable children) was forced out of their home due to the Council's stoppage of Housing Benefit and the apalling manner in which it was undertaken.
